As a teenager, Mirco Schmid recognised the potential of the digital world and gained his first programming experiences. Although he began a promising career in haute cuisine as a two-star chef at Lac Léman, he was drawn to the digital realm to reach for the stars. In 1998, he founded the web agency "emotions" with partners in Zurich's Seefeld district, turning his passion into a profession.
Mirco is not a CEO in the traditional sense, but rather someone who guides emotions' fortunes with a steady hand and consistently good humour – his "Force Tranquille" is equally appreciated by both his team and clients. His winning, humorous and helpful nature keeps the team together and ensures that everything runs smoothly. "There's no such thing as impossible" is Mirco's motto.
