Diagnose: Fit for the future

The renowned former «Burghölzli», founded in 1870, was the workplace of significant figures such as Auguste Forel, Eugen Bleuler and Carl Gustav Jung, who were pioneers in shaping the development of modern psychiatry. These trailblazers laid the foundation for the international recognition and reputation that the clinic enjoys today. As the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich (PUK), the institution stands for comprehensive and optimal treatment of people with mental illnesses.

Corporate Culture and Digitalisation
To meet these high performance standards in the future, PUK focuses on promoting corporate culture and comprehensive digital transformation. Employees have access to numerous development programmes and modern digital tools. Since 2009, PUK has been working closely with emotions to lead the clinic into the digital future. The aim of this partnership is to keep internal communication open and interdisciplinary collaboration at the highest level, whilst simplifying and streamlining processes. Together with emotions, PUK has continuously implemented digital solutions, and employees are regularly trained by emotions in new functions and applications of digital tools..
